MoM - Game-specific power info & permissions

( This post includes some spoilers for Good Omens.)

In Good Omens canon, Adam's powers as the Antichrist are basically infinite. He can change reality to his complete whim, including and not limited to: making creatures/people/entire populations real, changing objects into entirely different ones, changing the weather, changing physical aspects of people regardless of their will, creating new bodies for the non-corporeal, separating two creatures sharing the same body, and even reversing the effects of everything without having been present to know what those are, summoning minions, and awareness of information beyond what would be possible.

As stated, those are merely examples. His powers are not exactly defined as anything beyond bending all of reality to his will and having natural protection from being detected by other creatures with magical powers.


IN MASK OR MENACE

In-game, Adam's powers are somewhat limited. In the game's power slots, they are listed as:

✩ Reality altering
✩ Floating/flight
✩ Teleportation

Also worth noting are certain natural effects that don't exactly count as powers, but other characters might be privy to:

✩ Natural defense against magical detection, making his location impossible to perceive through magical means (this does not affect any government-based searches).

✩ For characters that can see auras, his is still massive and colorful, just not colossal as it was back home (ex.: Anathema, a witch from the Good Omens canon who can see auras, could not spot Adam's because it encompassed an area too large for her too see. In fact, she could have had to be in space to see it).

✩ Reading Adam's mind might have a negative effect on characters who do it. There are voices and untold waves of information and horrors within that kid's mind.

✩ His voice and eyes may change when he begins to lose himself to strong emotion and his powers.

His limitations and weaknesses are as such:

✩ Changing items/locations is still entirely possible, but the bigger it is, the more effort he needs to put in (example: moving an entire building (assuming it lacks any magical protection) from a location to another puts a lot of strain on him).

✩ He can be challenged by other magical powers.

✩ He cannot change the weather, but can affect the wind and temperature in the area around him.

✩ Cannot alter past or future events, his or anyone else's.

✩ Cannot teleport into government areas.

✩ His powers will be affected by his moods and intense emotion (ex.: unbridled anger means Bad Things will happen without active input).

With such general and vast power, even being more limited in the game than it is in canon, there's a lot of leeway with what he can do. I will avoid ever affecting your character directly without checking with you first.

ABOUT DOG

This small section is about Dog, Adam's companion and pet, who looks like a small dog.

✩ Dog is actually a hell hound, and, therefore, technically a demon.
✩ He acts very much like a regular dog, but he has more self and general awareness than a regular dog would.
✩ He will almost always accompany Adam.
✩ He may detect inhuman characters, and have particularly careful reactions to those of angelic and demonic natures.
✩ One can assume he may be weak to holy energy, as a demon.
✩ His demonic nature is rather weak at this point, being partly "burnt away".

PERMISSIONS

What I'd like to know about YOUR character:

✩ Can your character detect Adam's true nature?
✩ Are you okay with Adam detecting theirs?
✩ Can/will they read Adam's mind?
✩ Can Adam use his powers to affect your character? (As mentioned before, I will check with you before that happens)
✩ Can Adam affect your character's items?

And pertaining Dog:

✩ Can Dog detect your character's nature?
✩ Can your character detect Dog's?
✩ Does your character have any sort of holy power?

He is going to be able to see his energy/aura and is likely to read Adam as Adam's universe type of Force Sensitive being.
✩ Are you okay with Adam detecting theirs?
Yes! Please and he's welcome to! Anakin is a child/person born from the Force, meaning his has his mother's genetics with enough Force Magic to make him him. He thinks of himself as human but he's really only half-human and is in terms of raw power, the most powerful being in his universe due to the Force. Anakin really hamstrings himself there because That Is Scary. And he has really bad experiences of people who have too much power.
✩ Can/will they read Adam's mind?
He possibly could, but he also won't. He may try to read superficial emotions or go fishing if he thinks Adam is lying to him but that will always be addressed OOCly before it happens.
✩ Can Adam use his powers to affect your character? (As mentioned before, I will check with you before that happens)
YES! He's very welcome to.
✩ Can Adam affect your character's items?
Yes just let me know if it's going to affect his right arm as that's cybernetically tied into his nervous system and he'll get twitchy over it.

Dog:
✩ Can Dog detect your character's nature?
Absolutely!
✩ Can your character detect Dog's?
He's going to know he's not an Earth-dog. But he doesn't have a frame of reference beyond that. Anakin likes animals and is fairly good at using the Force to communicate with them so he's likely to enjoy Dog being able to communicate more.
✩ Does your character have any sort of holy power?
Only in the Mortis Arc which is a few years into the future for him, as he becomes a God for a period of time.
