And while I realize that may typically be someone over the age of majority, I still can't imagine anyone better suited for it than you would be. If you'd be willing, of course.
[ He takes a moment to answer, not because he has any particular objections, but because he really didn't expect that to be the topic of conversation. ]
You mean you're getting married? [ He didn't know angels and demons could get married. Though he'd also begun to think they already were, as they easily reminded him of his own mum and dad. ]
[And Aziraphale sounds so please and proud of himself about it, too.]
A best man, well. They stand as witness to the marriage itself. And then I believe they give a bit of a speech at the party. Dress up nice. That sort of thing.
[ Aziraphale sounds so happy. It's hard not to smile a bit. Even if Adam doesn't really get the point of weddings, but that's mostly on him being eleven.]
Will there be dancing and food and stuff? There's always those sort of things at weddings.
[ Fancy outfits, fancy food. A bunch of standing around taking photographs. A lot of old women pinching cheeks and talking about how grown up the kids look.
